Hi, I am Jen Waybright and I have been attempting to build a house for about 4 years now. In WV there is a program called "A Home of Your Own" that assists people with disabilities in building and owning their own homes. So you wonder - "hmmmm, she must have a disability", and I do. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and have used a wheelchair all of my life, now back to the good news.
On April 3, 2009 I got a call from the people in charge that my home could be started, yeahhh! I just kept shouting - finally. The first official day was 4-14, they started flatten the land, cut some trees down, and dig some dirt. *4-17th putting trees down, found out had to turn house straight instead caddy cornered, that was find with me. *4-18th put footers in ground & concrete down(the foundation of the house. ) Had two concrete trucks!! *cut some trees down.
